The Asper School of Business has established an International Student Exchange Partners with over 30 partner schools in 15 different countries. Participating students study and live abroad for one or two terms and receive full credit for the courses they take at our partner institutions. Similarly, international students from our partner schools attend classes in the Asper School of Business and experience living and studying in a Canadian environment. The program enriches the educational experience not only of the participants but the whole student body as well since it exposes students to different cultures, new ideas, and alternative teaching methods.
In 1994 the Asper School of Business established the Aboriginal Business Education Partners (ABEP) to create a holistic and supportive environment for aboriginal students seeking a B.Comm.(Hons.) degree. The program was and continues to be the only one of its kind in Canada. ABEP offers many and varied supports including (but not limited to) orientation sessions, alumni, student and corporate mentors, corporate sumer internships, individual and group tutoring, scholarships and bursaries and personal and academic advisers to help aboriginal students learn about and succeed to urban, university and academic life.
