Biography

Ewa (Eva) has been on staff at the University of Manitoba for nearly 30 years, starting as a student advisor in Arts and Science during her undergraduate studies (she holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Manitoba). Ewa also held the very first Awards Establishment Coordinator position at the University with Financial Aid and Awards and Development. Ewa has served the University as the Support Staff Chair of one of the University’s major fundraising campaigns - “Building on Strengths” – and on numerous committees. She has grown professionally by completing the University Management Course through CHERD, as well as through MBA-related academic and recruitment travel throughout Canada, the United States, Poland, China and Hong Kong and India. She also served for many years as a support staff representative on the Asper School Faculty Council.

Ewa joined the Asper School of Business Graduate Program Office in 2003. Over the years, she has been involved in most aspects of the Asper graduate student experience. She has been fortunate to meet hundreds of fascinating individuals each year through various recruitment events and to later see them again as they apply to Asper’s professional graduate programs. Asper graduate students bring with them such a diverse wealth of experiences, achievements and cultures – from them, Ewa learns new things each day and is honoured to spend her days with them.

The entire Stu Clark Graduate School team guides students through all stages of their studies, from application to admission and then through program planning, registration and, finally, graduation. They watch student progress with great pride and enjoy getting to know these students on individual levels – as they progress in their careers, welcome new additions to their families, and take on challenges with focus and determination. As Senior Student Advisor to the MBA, MFin and MSCM students, Ewa is thrilled to be part of such a dynamic and growing community!
