Welcome to the Asper School of Business
Gady JacobyFor over 75 years, the I.H. Asper School of Business has stood at the centre of economic activity in Manitoba by providing a world-class business education for all of our students. Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, when you enroll at the Asper School of Business, you enroll in more than just a school. You join a global community dedicated to ensuring your success.

The Asper School of Business offers an enriched experience inside and outside the classroom. Our programs continually evolve to meet the needs of today’s global economy by giving prominence to teaching and research, and equipping you with the tools you need to contribute meaningfully as leaders in the world of business.

No matter where you come from, you join a dynamic, supportive network of students, faculty, staff and alumni committed to making a positive difference in the world. Our diverse and award-winning faculty are dedicated to the highest standards of teaching, research and innovation. Our students have won forty-six business planning competitions and over $1 million in prize money, and have launched companies with a market capitalization worth over $400 million. Our Commerce Students Association is the largest student association on campus, and provides you with opportunities to grow as a student, a leader, and a human being.

You are included in this network right from the start. Imagine sitting down and sharing ideas over lunch with some of Manitoba’s top business leaders, even before the first day of classes. Our community includes the Associates and the Young Associates of the Asper School – Manitoba’s premier business networks – who give you opportunities to forge valuable business connections immediately. These networks provide you with a gateway to the real world of business. And they’re an active presence in the School: mentoring, coaching, lecturing, providing support, and connecting students with employers.

The Asper School of Business is AACSB accredited and offers programs leading to Bachelor of Commerce, M.Sc., MBA and Ph.D. degrees. It is home to an Executive Education Program, an Aboriginal Business Education Partners program, a co-operative education program, a Career Development Centre, International Exchange programs and the Stu Clarke Centre for Entrepreneurship.

I invite you to join our community and take advantage of an education that prepares you for the challenges of today’s ever-changing global world of business. Gain experiences and make connections that will take you anywhere you want to go. No matter where you choose to go, you will feel the pride of belonging to something much larger than just a school.
