Canadian Income Tax Act and Regulations
We will use the Tax Act and the text on January 6, so please purchase them before coming to class.

GRADING:
12% Class work (done in groups)
4% Home work assignment one due 4 p.m. February 5
30% February 12 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. midterm exam on chapters 1,3,4,7,10,11 in Drake 343
4% Home work assignment two due 4 p.m. April 2
50% April 13 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. final exam on chapters 1-13 in Drake 343

Notes:
1. Late assignments will not be marked.
2. Calculators and one copy of the Income Tax Act reasonably annotated will be allowed for all examinations. "Reasonably annotated" does not include pasting, stapling, or otherwise attaching or inserting any material into the Act, other than up to 25 tabs marked only with section numbers.
