Stu Clark Design That Logo Competition

What to do: We provide the business name and synopsis and all you have to do is CREATE A LOGO! When you send in your logo please provide an explanation on why you designed the logo like you did! Example why did you choose the colours, why did you choose certain font etc.

Who can nominate: All students enrolled at the University of Manitoba including undergraduate, graduate & PhD students (however post docs are not eligible).  

Prize money: One winner will be chosen and win $500! 

Rules:

• Open only to U of M students
• Only one logo entry allowed per student
• Nomination period closes Friday, June 26 (11:59 PM)
• Winner will be announced Tuesday, June 30 and receive $500!

The SCCE invites students to hop on for the field trip of a lifetime! This event is free for all students and will showcase what’s behind Winnipeg’s most dynamic startups and provide insight at all the amazing support and resources that our local entrepreneurial ecosystem has to offer. Startup YWG Crawl is your chance to meet the brains behind successful businesses and check out their workspaces. If you are interested in starting your own business, or simply just curious, then this is a great tour of amazing innovation taking place in our own backyard!

Elevator Pitch

This exhilarating competition is not for the faint of heart but we guarantee students will feel more confident and accomplished once having participated. Students will step inside a real moving elevator and have only the elevator ride to pitch their venture in front of judges.  The SCCE will provide guidance and resources beforehand on how to properly prepare for an Elevator Pitch. This event is also a tremendous time to network with likeminded students and receive valuable feedback from the judges!
