All current employees may sign up for a Recreation Services membership by visiting the customer service desk at either the Frank Kennedy Centre, Max Bell Centre or Joe Doupe Centre (Bannatyne campus). To be eligible for the Faculty/Staff rate for membership a valid staff card is required at the time of registration. In addition to your staff I.D. you must complete a physical aptitude and readiness questionnaire.
All U of M Alumni qualify for a preferred rate for membership with Recreation Services. Starting for as little as $34/month you can continue to make active living a regular part of your life right here on campus! Spouse and dependent memberships are also available.
If you are currently a student member expecting to graduate soon, you qualify for our Lifestyle membership. The Lifestyle membership is available at a discounted rate for all new U of M alumni. To qualify, U of M students must register in their last term prior to the expiration of their current student membership. This membership category is available for only the first year immediately after graduation. To see if you qualify, please speak to a customer service staff member at the Active Living Centre or Joe Doupe Recreaiton Centre or call us at 204.474.6100.
Recreation Services membership is not only for U of M students and staff. In fact, we offer a wide variety of membership options for the general public that is suited to meet your budget and schedule. Becoming a Recreation Services member is easier than you think! Simply fill out the Membership Registration Form, bring a valid piece of photo I.D. such as a driver’s license or passport, and then visit either our Fort Garry or Bannatyne campus locations to register. It’s that easy! Remember, there are no contracts to sign or administrative fees to pay.
