There will be a special gathering of current Manitoba Bisons women’s soccer team and former players, coaches to watch and cheer on former Bison and Bison coach Desiree Scott as she is part of the Canada women’s soccer team that will play for a bronze medal against France at the London 2012 Summer Olympics.
The gathering will be at the Smitty’s Family Restaurant and Lounge - Pembina University location (2835 Pembina) on Thursday, August 9 at 7 am when the game starts live. The game will be shown live in the back room of the restaurant section of Smitty’s.
