Israel Idonije Foundation (IIF) will host their sixth annual All-Star football camp. The free one-day camp is held for children 10-14 years of age. The children will be coached by Chicago Bears Defensive End and former Manitoba Bisons Idonije along with up to 20 University of Manitoba Bisons football players involved plus Bison coaches, including Bison football head coach Brian Dobie. The North West Company, Giant Tiger West Division, will provide snacks and beverages for participants on the day of the camp.

The camp will run on Saturday, June 16 and goes from 1-3 p.m. at the Winnipeg Soccer Federation Indoor Soccer Complex (211 Chancellor Matheson Rd.) at the University of Manitoba campus.

"The Bison football program has been a critical part of our All-Star camp every year, and I always look forward to coming home to Winnipeg,” Idonije stated.

The All-Star Football Camp is held in Winnipeg and Chicago and has had nearly 2,000 participants since its inception in 2007. The camp focuses on emphasizing the importance of education, which also promotes physical and emotional development. IIF partners with local agencies that service low-income students and families, including Y-NOT, Boys and Girls Club (BGC) and the Winnipeg Aboriginal Sports Achievement Centre (WASAC).

The Israel Idonije Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to connecting children and families in underserved communities by investing in social and emotional development.
