fss_rehab_researchThe Department of Family Social Sciences has a varied research program covering topics from family violence to the aging population to human development issues.

Faculty in the Department of Family Social Sciences use a variety of research methodologies, both quantitative and qualitative.

We support observational, interview and survey research, as well as analysis of large data sets and case studies.
Our observational and computer facilities are well-equipped.

We have established an extensive network of community partnerships that support community-based research.
