Neuro-Ophthalmology - Case 3

A healthy 52 year old woman comes to your office complaining of problems with her peripheral vision.

Case 3

Her visual acuity is 20/20 OU.  Visual field testing, which was confirmed with formal perimetry testing, is shown above.  Extraocular movements, pupils, and funduscopy were all normal.

Visual field testing demonstrates:

Right homonymous hemianopia
Left homonymous hemianopia
Bitemporal hemianopia
Binasal hemianopia
Central scotoma
