The curriculum is designed so that residents spend as much time as possible in the rural setting. Training in Parkland will take place in Dauphin, an agriculture-based community situated between Duck Mountain Provincial Park and Riding Mountain National Park. For small-town residency, residents will work and be accommodated in the rural community of Ste. Rose du Lac. Some residency training with the Parkland region will also occur in Brandon.
