On behalf of the Society for Research on the Cerebellum and Ataxia (SRCA) Symposium committee members, I am pleased to invite you to the upcoming “8th International Symposium on the Cerebellum: from Development to Disease”, which will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on May 24-26, 2017.
The SRCA is an international professional society of scientists and researchers who are interested in research on the cerebellum and its associated disorders. In recent years, there has been tremendous growth in research on cerebellar motor and non-motor functions, and the cerebellum has been shown to play a critical role in diseases ranging from ataxias, autism spectrum disorder and cognitive operations. The SRCA offers an essential link to improve, share and intensify this knowledge, by supporting and promoting both basic and clinical research on the cerebellum. The society’s vision is to promote research and education, and this symposium provides an excellent platform to fulfill this vision while providing researchers and trainees with the opportunity to network, and share and discuss their research and ideas with others in the field.
The symposium program contains a considerable variety of topics. A combined with the extensive and rich symposium program, will provide the opportunity to acquire cutting edge knowledge in research on the cerebellum. We hope you will join us in Winnipeg, Canada at the 8th International Symposium on the Cerebellum!
