Interested in planning a class reunion and need help getting started? Wondering if your class has an upcoming reunion in the works? We’re here to help.
Each fall the university celebrates Homecoming. It’s a chance for alumni (from all faculties and schools) to participate in activities planned by the university’s alumni association and respective faculties and schools. This annual event provides the perfect opportunity to reconnect with your fellow classmates and celebrate a (milestone) class reunion. During the week-long Homecoming festivities, the College of Medicine hosts the Dean’s Breakfast with campus tours. It’s the perfect opportunity for reunions to take place, offering you and your fellow classmates a visit down memory lane as you learn what your colleagues have been up to since graduation.
Class leaders play an important role in planning a reunion. How is a leader appointed? Often one or several graduates will reach out to our alumni affairs & events officer to get started with plans for an upcoming reunion. If no one steps forward, the alumni affairs & events officer will send a letter to grads to let them know a milestone reunion is on the horizon and invite class members to be part of the planning process.
