The symposium offers Elders, community members, youth, students, and researchers the opportunity to share ideas about Indigenous health research. This year’s theme explores the importance of centering the Indigenous voice in health research and the critical role that language plays in disrupting colonial narratives
Abstracts for presentations are welcomed from university and community-based researchers, students and others who are engaged in research or knowledge translation projects relevant to the health of the region’s Indigenous communities.
Abstracts for presentations will be accepted until September 2, 2018.
