A key priority of the Office of CCA is the creation of learning events for health professionals that support interprofessional collaboration and practice. We seek to plan, promote and evaluate clinically-focused education events that meet the learning needs of practicing health care and social services professionals from a variety of disciplines. With our partners in the Interprofessional Practice Collaborative team, we are supporting system change through our programs that help health professionals learn with, from and about each other.
Each year we offer a flagship interprofessional CPD event in conjunction with the "Fridays at the University" series offered by the CPD Medicine program. We make our programs available provincially through video conferencing and promote the integration of simulation and small-group learning.
Most recently, our planning committee is the Interprofessional Faculty Committee of the Department of Family Medicine.
