How do I apply for the International Graduate Student Scholarship (IGSS)?
Please visit our Award Deadlines page and click ‘Apply’ under the IGSS listing. You will need to log in to your Self Service Centre account in order to apply.
I cannot remember my password and/or username for my Self-Service Centre account.
To retrieve your password and/or username please visit the Self Service Centre login page, click ‘Forgot Username/Password?’. You will then be prompted to enter your Username or Email Address associated with your account. You will then be sent an email with a link to reset your password and/or retrieve your Username.
I tried to reset my password but I cannot remember my username or email address associated with my Self-Service Centre account.
Send us an email with your full name and student number and we will get back to you with your login details.
Do I need to supply Graduate Studies with copies of all of my transcripts for the IGSS award?
No. You only need to upload a current University of Manitoba unofficial web transcript. Transcripts from previous universities attended will automatically be moved from your graduate application to your IGSS application.
I received the International Graduate Student Entrance Scholarship (IGSES) last year. Will I automatically be considered for the IGSS?
Students are not automatically considered for the IGSS. You must apply for the IGSS in each academic year that you are eligible.
I am planning to transfer from a Master’s to a PhD program, or to apply for a PhD program next year. Should I apply for the IGSS?
If you are planning to transfer from a Master’s to a PhD program, or to apply for a PhD program next year, you are encouraged to submit an IGSS application before the deadline. Even if you are unsure what you will do, you are encouraged to submit an application. An assessment of your eligibility will be performed when your complete IGSS application is received.
How do I get a copy of my U of Manitoba unofficial web transcript?
