The University of Manitoba Graduate Students’ Association is the student-governed association representing graduate students at the University of Manitoba, which functions on all of its affiliate campuses.
Health and Dental plan
Full-time graduate students are automatically members of the UMSU Health and Dental Plan. Fees are assessed in the Fall term, or upon registration into a graduate program.
Library
Contact our librarian, Grace Romund, and access specialized library resources in Environment, Earth & Resources fields.
Academic Learning Center
The ALC provides hour or half-hour long appointments with a writing specialist. Sign up for an appointment, keeping an eye on the graduate student recommendations.
Graduate Teaching
The Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning provides a series of workshops designed for graduate students to learn skills and techniques for teaching. Completing the steps gains you an accreditation through SEDA.
