Research Interests

Ms. Beattie explores the cycling of mercury and methylmercury within the Arctic cryosphere. Quantification of these chemicals, along with a host of biological and physical parameters (such as chlorophyll A and oxygen isotopic ratios), are being undertaken to better achieve this objective.
