The University of Manitoba's International Centre for Students (ICS) offers many helpful resources to students needing assistance with all aspects of studying and living in a new culture. ICS offers orientation and welcome programs for new international students as well as advising services to assist with course selection and understanding the University policies and procedures.

In addition, ICS facilitates the Campus Buddy Program to help new students transition into life on campus and the Volunteer Language Practice Program to pair English speakers with speakers of other language for mutual language practice.

ICS staff can also help you with the following concerns:

  • Information on Canada and Winnipeg
  • Accomodation
