Scholarships

Antenbring Graduate Scholarship in Structural Engineering
(for entrance to the Civil Engineering graduate program in Structural Engineering, though the award may be made in other areas when eligible structural students are not found.)
Value: up to the amount of interest earned on the fund approx. (two awards of approx. $4,000 each)

Neil Burgess Memorial Scholarship
(for research in Geotechnical Engineering)
Value: 70% of annual interest earned (approx $2,300.00)

Flying Officer George Finkel Memorial Scholarship and Bursary
(for a full-time undergraduate or graduate student with a 60% or more of a full course-load in Geological Engineering) (Apply directly to the Faculty of Graduate Studies)

Elizabeth Anne Hogan Memorial Scholarship
(available only to female students enrolled as a full-time student in a Ph.D. program)
Value: 70% annual income (approx. $1,275.00)

John Allen Knowles Memorial Scholarship
(for entrance to a graduate program in Water Resources)
Value: 70% of accumulated interest earned (approx. $4,000.00)

Duncan Norrie Memorial Scholarship in Water Resources
(for pursuing graduate studies in the field of water resource engineering)
Value: annual interest earned on the fund (approx. $1,500.00)

Gordon P. Osler Fund
(to provide scholarship support for students undertaking full-time doctoral studies in Management, Engineering, or Science)
Value: 60% of annual earnings of fund) (Apply directly to the Faculty of Graduate Studies)

Engineering Class of 1946 Graduate Scholarship
(for the top student entering either the Master of Science program in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering with high academic standing and evidence of leadership qualities and personal initiative)
Value: 40% of annual income  (approx. $2,050.00)

W. E. Muir Scholarship for Graduate Students in Biosystems Engineering
(for full-time graduate students who have achieved high academic standing)
Value: Annual income of approx. $3,975.00

Thomas J. Pounder Memorial Scholarship
(for a graduate student working in aspects of Design, Construction Maintenance and management of Highways and Airport Pavements, with emphasis on practical application in Manitoba, along with a promise of making a contribution to society)
Value: up to 70% annual income over two years (awarded only in odd numbered years- approx. $13,000.00)
