The Faculty of Engineering is involved with several Joint Programs.  The most notable and longest running is the UCSI/UM Engineering Transfer Program whereby students at UCSI University in Malaysia complete up to two years of courses at UCSI in Malaysia then transfer to UM to complete the remainder of their degree.  This program has been running since 1992.

Other initiatives are being considered with partners in China (with Ningbo University and Shaoxing University) and India (with Dr. Mahalingam Institute of Technology and Guru Jambheswar University of Science and Technology).
