The Engineers-In-Residence Program will provide the practical design experience both staff and students can call upon.

Engineers-In-Residence will be appointed from two different sources, with different responsibilities.

Retired Engineers
  • provide a resident body of design experience
  • provide leadership for student technical society design groups
  • provide links between students and industry
  • develop working relationships with academic staff
Seconded Engineers from Industry
  • asked to participate in every laboratory period in a specific course
  • become a design resource to complement the academic input that now exists
  • provide linkage between students and industry
