Centre for Community Oral Health - CCOH

Established in 2000, the non-profit Centre Community Oral Health (CCOH) grew from the Faculty of Dentistry’s strong tradition of reaching out to the underserved. Using a prevention-oriented philosophy, CCOH works to improve oral health by providing a complement of clinical and health promotion services.

Our Mission:

To care for underserved communities by promoting oral health and providing essential services through fiscally responsible programs using the resources and expertise of the Faculty of Dentistry.

Our Goals:

• To provide dental services that are individualized for each patient.
• To provide community-based oral health promotion.
• To provide educational opportunities for dental students.
• To conduct health care policy research for special-needs groups.
