If you are a member of the Canadian Forces (regular or reserves), a military spouse or dependant, a retired member, or a civilian employee of the Department of National Defence, the Military Support Office is dedicated to serving you. Degree programs are available through Distance and Online Education, or on campus, and are available on a part-time or full-time basis.
Campus Manitoba (CMB) facilitates access to post-secondary education across Manitoba through a consortium of institutions that includes: Brandon University, the University of Manitoba, the University of Winnipeg, Universite de Saint-Boniface, Red River College, University College of the North, and Assiniboine Community College.
CMB is a unique program in that students receive credit for courses offered by any of the participating universities/colleges. Coordinators at regional CMB Centres provide academic and logistical support for students.
Canadian Virtual University-Universite virtuelle canadienne (CVU) is a partnership of Canadian universities that have combined their resources to provide students with more options for degree credit courses, programs and degrees. Students in eligible programs at the University of Manitoba (UM) can choose from a wide range of courses from CVU and apply these courses towards their UM program. There are no fees for Letters of Permission or visiting student applications for CVU students.
