Posting your presentation on WebCT Extended Help

Once your presentation is complete, it is very important to upload it carefully so that your work appears properly on WebCT:

  1. Log on to WebCT and access your course homepage.
  2. Access the "Student Presentations" area of your course. This is most often found under the assignments area, but may vary depending on the course.
  3. Beside your presentation or group name, click "Edit Files".

  4. On the right menu you will see a list of options that you can use to post your presentation. If your presentation files are contained in more than one folder, create folders with the exact same names that you used on your computer. The folders and files must be organized in WebCT in the same way that they appear in your computer. To create folders, click on "Create folder" in the right menu.

  5. To upload files onto WebCT click on "Upload" in the right menu.

  6. Before browsing for your files, be sure to select the destination folder that you would like the files to appear in.

  7. Browse for the presentation files on your computer by clicking "Browse". Once you have selected the file that you would like to upload, click "Upload". Repeat steps 5-7 for every file that you need to upload.

  8. To view your presentation at any time, return to the "Student Presentations" area of your course homepage; click on your presentation description.
