The Research Facilitator provides support to Social Sciences and Humanities researchers in research related activities, such as:

  • developing competitive grant and fellowship applications
  • facilitating collaborative research partnerships
  • creating strategic research plans

She can assist researchers at all stages of the proposal development process by matching researchers with appropriate funding opportunities, providing editing support and feedback on draft proposals, developing knowledge mobilization strategies, and helping researchers convey the significance of their research.

Dr. Warkentin can be contacted at any stage of research to provide assistance, but note that early involvement is often the most beneficial.

Dr. Warkentin has extensive experience with SSHRC, Tri-Council, and other granting agencies, as well as with facilitation, collaboration, and editing. Her own research program focuses on late-Victorian crime fiction by and about women.
