Olena Vdovyna

Mymka Visiting Research Scholar for CUCS

Dr. Olena Vdovyna focus is on  Ukrainian Medieval Studies.

She earned her PhD from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in 2004 under Prof. Vilen Horskyi.  At the completion of her degree she was employed with the Hryhoriy Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and taught there several courses such as Philosophy and Cultural Studies.

While at CUCS, Dr. Vdovyna will be conducting research on Ivan Ohienko's Medieval studies.
