Message for Undergraduate Students

FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO ARE NEW TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA: WELCOME! FOR RETURNING VETERANS: WELCOME BACK!

New from last year, and since the Duff Roblin fire, the Department of Psychology General Office has moved to Chancellor’s Hall – the big house alongside the river that stands on the opposite the Duff Roblin Building on Dysart Road.

The key contact people for undergraduate students are:
Dr. Jason Leboe
Associate Head, Undergraduate Studies
311 Chancellor’s Hall
psychughead@umanitoba.ca
Phone: (204) 272-1558
Sarah Germain
Undergraduate Advisor
310 Chancellor's Hall
psychugadvisor@umanitoba.ca
Phone: (204) 474-6982

Please contact either of them for help with academic matters and for planning courses and programs. Their office hours are posted at www.umanitoba.ca/psychology

As usual, the locations of lectures (and labs, where applicable) can be found in the Course Schedule, which is available on Aurora Student and elsewhere, such as in the General Course Calendar. No classes will be located in the Duff Roblin Building this year. For example, labs associated with PSYC 2250 and PSYC 2260 have been relocated to Room 202, Isbister Building. Help as to the location of classes is also available in the Department General Office. For general inquiries, please call 474-9338. Despite the fire, all courses will continue as usual, although small adjustments may result from changes in available equipment or space. As always, our faculty and staff are eager to assist you as you pursue your training in psychological science.

WE WISH YOU AN EXCITING AND PRODUCTIVE ACADEMIC YEAR!
