Graduates of our Advanced Major program have careers as union organizers, representatives and researchers, human relations officers, constituency assistants, Employment Standards Officers, worker advocates, health and safety officers, and in various branches of government. Others work in social agencies, Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) or business. Some of our students simply want to learn more about how the world works. Labour Studies provides training for students who want to work in the field as well as a general background for students who want a broad, interdisciplinary learning experience with real-life applications.
