Work Student Summer Program (Werkstudentenprogramm)

Work Student Program (Werkstudentenprogramm) in Germany is comprised of 12 weeks in the summer.

RhineThe Canadian Association of University Teachers of German (CAUTG), in co-operation with the Zentralstelle für Arbeitsvermittlung (ZAV) and the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD), organizes a program of work and travel in Germany from mid-May until mid-August each year. During June and July, successful candidates in the program will work at jobs which are primarily in the hotel/restaurant trade, although some employment in offices and factories is usually offered to students whose command of German is reasonably good. If the student wishes, the month of August is free for independent travel.

Application deadline: usually early January (but check in fall on actual deadline for the next summer)
