From Dr. Derek Johnson's fieldwork: Two dishes prepared using local ingredients in Dumbriguda Mandal, Andhra Pradesh, India. The clay pot on the left contains a traditional staple drink made of lightly fermented finger millet – very refreshing and surprisingly filling! The dish on the right is a bean stew, best eaten with finger millet rotis or little millet rice.
