  • On the editorial boards of NeWest Press ,Prairie Fire Magazine, and the University of Manitoba Press.
  • Completing a novel about the oil industry: Exhaust.
  • Published articles on Canadian Aboriginal literature, oral culture and race theory.
  • Published a collection of novellas, The Exalted Company of Roadside Martyrs (1999) and a memoir, Lake of the Prairies (2002).
