University of Manitoba - Faculty of Arts - Excellence in Teaching - Established Faculty Category
Excellence in Teaching - Established Faculty Category

The Faculty of Arts is the largest Faculty teaching approximately 30% of the undergraduate student credit hours at the University of Manitoba. Many of these courses are taught by established faculty. The cateogry of established faculty, those past their probationary period, includes individuals who hold tenure and instructors with continuing appointments. These individuals have been involved in engaging others in the excitement of learning, motivating others to challenge themselves beyond their current thinking, and stimulating others towards critical thinking and analysis. Therefore, the Faculty of Arts initiates recognition of excellence in teaching by established faculty to underscore the Faculty’s commitment to learning and high quality instruction. The Award  recipient will receive a prize for $1,000 and their name will be engraved on the Faculty of Arts' Wall of Recognition.
