- Upon marriage a man and
woman form a joint household which includes their immature children
- each partner's siblings also marry and form separate households
A man's adult sisters' sons (D for example) come to reside with him and will
eventually include their wives and immature children in the household.
- His sons in turn will move to their mother's brother's household.
- His daughters will go to live with their husband upon marriage
- The process is
repeated, creating a direct line of coresident matrilineally related men.
