Complimentary Software

As an student enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture, you are entitled to some software free of charge for educational use.

Here is a list of available software and where to obtain it:

AutoCAD

Register as a student at http://students.autodesk.com. 
Once registered, you are able to download a complete version of AutoCAD.

In addition to AutoCAD, Autodesk also offers a number of other products as free downloads for students, including 3dsmax, Revit, and more.

Vectorworks

Register at http://student.myvectorworks.com/.

Once registered, you can download a complete version of Vectorworks for educational use.

VMWare

Send an e-mail to archsw@cc.umanitoba.ca with the subject "VMWare". 

You must send this e-mail from your University of Manitoba e-mail address, not from GMail, Hotmail, or other e-mail address.

You will receive instructions on how to register and download a free copy of VMWare Fusion and other VMWare products.

Windows

Download and complete the MSDN Student Software Application form.

Return the completed form to the main CADLab office.

An e-mail will be sent to you explaining how to register with Microsoft and where to obtain your product key.  You can either download the software or borrow the installation disc from CADLab.
