Staff Software

CADLab provides a wide variety of software that staff can have on their computers free of charge.

Below is a list of the most popular that we have available.  It is not a complete list, so if you are looking for something that isn't on the list please ask.

There are three different license types:

• Standalone
  • This can be installed on your laptop permanently
• Portable
  • This can be installed on your laptop, but normal operation requires an Internet connection. 
  • In the event that you are travelling or are otherwise without an Internet connection, a license can be "checked out"
  • A "checked out" license allows you to use the software without an Internet connection
• Server
  • This can be installed on your laptop, but requires an Internet connection at all times.
  • This cannot be used at all without an Internet connection
