The Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba seeks to assist promising students through the establishment of an emergency bursary fund. The fund has been established by the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture through a series of undirected funds from alumni. Financial assistance will be made available to students in the Faculty of Architecture for graduate students (Architecture, City Planning, Interior Design and Landscape Architecture), who do not qualify through the student loans program. Preference will be given to mature students with dependants.
One or two annual bursaries will be offered to students who:

• are enrolled as full-time students in a Masters degree program in Architecture, City Planning, Interior Design or Landscape Architecture
• have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on all courses completed in the Faculty of Architecture
Applications for funding will consist of a letter of interest from the candidate that outlines their need for funding and how it will assist them in their program of study.
*The value of the award may be divided between multiple applicants.
