SCHOLARSHIPS
BEEM (Building Energy Management Manitoba) Scholarship in Architecture and Engineering
A student who is enrolled full-time in the undergraduate program of the Faculty of Architecture or Faculty of Engineering (in alternating years); has completed at least two years of full-time study; has achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; and has demonstrated interest in energy efficiency and renewable energy. Awarded to a student in the spring every other year who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Corrigill Scholarship A student who has clear standing in their study program of the previous year, has a high standing in the academic year on which the award is based; and will proceed in a full-time enrolment within the Faculty of Architecture the next year. Awarded to a student in the fall who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Dr. A. W. Hogg Undergraduate Scholarships This scholarship is awarded on the basis of highest average standings irrespective of year and course (excluding students in their graduating year).  Student must have qualified for the Dean's Honour List in their faculty or school and to be eligible for consideration for these scholarships. Awarded to a student in the fall who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
E. H. Price Undergraduate Award A student who has completed University 1 at The University of Manitoba or a preliminary year of studies at another university; has achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5; and have enrolled full-time in the Environmental Design program in the Faculty of Architecture with at least 27 credit hours of Environmental Design courses. Awarded to a student in the fall who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Faculty of Architecture Design Award A student who is enrolled full-time in the Faculty. Has entered the ED3 option year and has selected any one of the of the four available options (Architecture, City Planning, Interior Design, or Landscape Architecture. Has completed year 2 (ED2). Best exemplifies high quality design, high quality presentation methods, innovative design, collegiality, and team work in their student work. Awarded to a student in October who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
James Palmer Lewis Student Scholarship A student who is enrolled full-time in the third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Environmental Design program in the Faculty of Architecture; have achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.5; have demonstrated environmental awareness or the application of environmental technology to design. Awarded to a student in the fall who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
James Palmer Lewis Student Award The available annual income will be used to offer awards to undergraduate students who:  are enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Architecture, in Year 3 or Year 4 of the Bachelor of environmental Design program;  have achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.5;  require assistance with tuition, books, supplies, or travel related to their program of study.  Applications for funding must include a letter from the candidate that outlines how the award will be used and how it will assist the applicant in their program of study.  Awarded in the fall and will be advertised via poster, email and web.
Isbister Undergraduate Scholarship This scholarship is awarded on the basis of highest average standings. The winner must be registered and in attendance at The University of Manitoba upon the full work of the next succeeding year of a degree course. Awarded to a student in October who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Kasian Scholarship for Architecture & Design Excellence A student who is enrolled full-time in the Environmental Design program in the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba; has completed at least two years of full-time study; has achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5; and has demonstrated exceptional architectural design skills. Awarded to a student in the fall who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Michael Cox Scholarship A student who is enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Architecture, in the third year of the Environmental Design program (ED3), Interior Environments Option; has achieved the highest cumulative grade in Design Studio 1 (currently numbered EVDS 2500) and Design Studio 2 (currently numbered EVDS 2900).
In the case of a tie, the highest degree grade point average will be used as a tie-breaker. Awarded to a student in the fall who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Students' Architectural Society Award Students of the Environmental Design program who have completed their year with a minimum GPA of 3.0; have a record of participation in student activities; and are not elected members of the Students' Architectural Society. Awarded to a student in the fall who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Terry Cristall Scholarship in Environmental Design
A student enrolled full-time in the second, third, or fourth year of study in the Faculty of Architecture, in the Bachelor of Environmental Design program; has achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.0; has made a significant contribution to student life in the Faculty of Architecture and/or has demonstrated involvement in community service (e.g. through his or her participation in professional or charitable organizations). Candidates will be required to submit a letter of application (maximum 250 words) outlining their involvement in the Faculty and/or community service. Awarded in the fall and will be advertised via poster, email and web.

The R.A.C. Memorial Scholarship  ED4 Interior Design Option who either has demonstrated the greatest development over the year's work of ED3 or has performed throughout the year at a consistently meritorious level. Awarded to a student in October who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
William and Olive Humphrys Scholarship
One award will be offered as a scholarship to an undergraduate student who:  is enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Architecture, in Year 3 or Year 4 of the Bachelor of Environmental Design (Architecture Option);  has achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.5.  Awarded to a student in the fall who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.

Barbara C. Poole Bursary
A student that is enrolled full-time in the ED3 Interior Environments option of undergraduate program or Graduate Studies in the Department of Interior Design.  Has demonstrated academic excellence with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 (or equivalent) in their program of study; has demonstrated financial need on the standard university bursary application form. Awarded to a student in December who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
J.M. Gilchrist Bursary  
Student/s who are enrolled as full-time studentshas demonstrated financial need and is entering the Faculty of Architecture and to students already enrolled in any year in Environmental Design or in the pre-Master's year in Architecture. Awarded to a student in December who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
James Palmer Lewis Student Bursary Student/s who are enrolled as full-time students in the third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Environmental Design program in the Faculty of Architecture; have demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application form. Awarded to a student in December who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Neil Kay Brown Memorial Bursary A talented and deserving student completing any year of the course in Environmental Design or the pre-Master's year in Architecture and attaining a clear standing in all subjects of the year in course and in all subjects in the preceding year or years. The award shall be forfeited if the recipient does not return to the University to enroll in Architecture or Environmental Design in the next following session. Awarded to a student in December who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Paul Grant Bursary in Architecture A student who is enrolled full-time in the third year of the Environmental Design program, specifically in the Architecture Option; has achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5; and has demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application form. Awarded to a student in December who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Peggy Jackson Seed Bursary in Architecture A student who is enrolled full-time in the third year of the Environmental Design program, specifically in the Architecture option; has achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5; has demonstrated involvement with extra-curricular activities, both at the University and in the wider community; has demonstrated a talent for creativity and innovation through work completed in the program; and has demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary form. Awarded in the fall and will be advertised via poster, email and web.

Sari Golden Memorial Bursary
A student who has completed two years in the Environmental Design program with high standing; is proceeding into the third year of the Environmental Design program, specifically in the Interior Environment Option; and has demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application form. Awarded to a student in December who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Stantec Architecture Bursary A student who is a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident; is enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Architecture (ED3 Option) undergraduate program or is enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies in a Master's program in the Department of Architecture, City Planning, Interior Design or Landscape Architecture; has achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 (based on the last full year of study); and has demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application form. Awarded to a student in December who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Victoria C. Hull Memorial Award A student who completes the first two years of Environmental Design and who proceeds in the next ensuing academic year to the final year of Environmental Design, specifically in the Interior Environment Option. Awarded to a student in December who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
William E. Sheets Bursary in Architecture A student that is a residents of Manitoba or Saskatchewan; are enrolled full-time in either the Faculty of Architecture, in the final year (Year 4) of the Bachelor of Environmental Design, Architecture Option, or the Faculty of Graduate Studies, in any year of the Master of Architecture program; as undergraduate students, have achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on all courses completed in Architecture or as graduate students, a minimum degree grade point average of 3.0; have demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application form. .Awarded to a student in December who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Winston Leathers Award A student who: has completed the second year in the Bachelor of Environmental Design program; is registered full-time in the Faculty of Architecture, in Year 3 of one of the Architecture, Interior Design, or Landscape and Urbanism Options; has achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.5; has demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application form. Awarded to a student in December who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
MEDALS/PRIZES
Dan Muir Memorial Award For outstanding ability in design. Awarded to a student in the spring who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Ed Letinsky Annual Sketch Prize All students registered full-time in the Faculty of Architecture are eligible to enter the competition at the undergrad level. Awarded to a student in the fall who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
Pinky Prize One prize with a value of $2,500 will be offered annually for a period of nine years to an undergraduate student who: (1) has completed the second year of full-time study in the Environmental Design program in the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba (Studios One and Two); (2) has shown the greatest advancement in the learning process based on course work completed in Design Studio 1 and Design Studio 2 in the year in which the award is tenable. This award is to recognize growth and development and is not simply to be based on marks alone. Awarded to a student in the fall who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
University Gold Medal For highest standing in Environmental Design. Awarded to a student in the spring who is eligible. Will automatically be considered, no application required.
