Program Options

In the first year of their two-year program, all the students are provided with a broad education in the production, marketing and management of agricultural products.

After the first year, students will choose one of four fields to focus on, each which include related options.

Business Management
Discover the world of agricultural business management including: finance and credit, merchandising, sales, agricultural policy and financial risk management.

Crop Management
Explore the methods of weed, plant disease, soil conservation, soil fertility, forage and pasture management. Also included is specialty crops and diversification with horticultural crops.

Livestock Management
Perfect for those who plan on managing livestock operations. Special attention is given to animal health and welfare, production and management in beef, dairy, poultry, horse and swine.

General Agriculture
This diploma provides a more diversified education, by selecting a variety of courses from the areas listed above. It is ideal for those who intend to manage a diverse operation or for those who desire a more general education.
