Research Community
Researchers from a diverse background work together to conduct comprehensive systems-level integrated livestock and crop production research. This team approach provides a research structure better able to address complex issues facing agricultural production from the molecular to the landscape level, relating research outcomes to the bigger picture.

Adopting an ‘whole-system’ approach lets researchers investigate multiple issues within a single project to see how the entire system is influenced by, for example, a certain management strategy.

The open and dynamic structure of the NCLE team allows the core group of researchers from the University of Manitoba to work together with other Research Institutions on a per project basis.
