Examinations

The Manitoba Arborist Training Examination is a 2.5 hour, multiple choice (165 questions) examination.  The minimum overall passing grade for the Arborist Examination is 70% and the minimum passing grade in each of the 12 sections is 60%.  If you are unsuccessful  in your initial attempt at the exam, you will have the opportunity for up to 2 re-writes within the next 12 months.

The cost of the examination is $90 (includes GST).
The cost of an examination rewrite is $90 (includes GST).

**To register for an examination rewrite, you will need to login with the username and password you received when you registered for the course. If you are unsure what your username and password are, please contact the school at 204-474-8473.

Note:  If your on-line registration is successful, you will receive a confirmation email.  At the bottom of this email will be a link to your electronic receipt.

You must register or reschedule your examination date
at least 2 weeks prior to the date the next examination will be held.
There is a $25 admin fee for changes made past the 2 week deadline.
No late registrations are accepted.



Alternate Examination Dates can be arranged if there is a valid reason why you are not able to attend any of the scheduled dates that are offered.  Special requests are to be submitted to the School of Agriculture for approval.  For this accomodation, an additional fee will be assessed.  Please contact the school at:  (204) 474-8473 for more information.
