RADAR detecting fire from a train derailment

What happened

On the morning of December 5, 2009, a train derailed near Spy Hill in eastern Saskatchewan. The chemicals on the train caught fire and the ensuing smoke was visible from far away. Also, the smoke plume was picked up by the Foxwarren, MB Doppler RADAR.
The smoke was first detected by the RADAR at 13:10Z, which corresponds to 7:10 AM CST. It appears as a few pixels that suddenly show up near Spy Hill (location shown on the first image of the animation) and then doesn't move for the balance of the animation.
