SMD GRADUATE BURSARY

SMD (The Society of Manitobans with Disabilities) has offered to provide an annual bursary of $5,000 to a graduate student in the Interdisciplinary Master's Program in Disability Studies.

The bursary will be offered to a student who:

  • (1) is registered as a full-time or part-time student in any year of study in the Faculty of Graduate Studies pursuing a Interdisciplinary Master's Program in Disability Studies
  • (2) has demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application form.

Preference will be given to the eligible applicants in the following order:

  • First, to current or past consumers of SMD services
  • second, to SMD employees or dependents of SMD employees
  • lastly, to students with disabilities.
