As stated in the University of Manitoba Undergraduate Calendar, it is the responsibility of all students to:

  • familiarize themselves each year with the university’s academic regulations and policy in general;
  • familiarize themselves with the regulations and policies applying specifically to their faculty, school or program;
  • familiarize themselves with the specific graduation requirements of the degree, diploma, or certificate they are seeking.

In the event of an inconsistency between the general academic regulations and policies published in the Student Handbook, in print or online, and such regulations established by Senate and Dentistry Faculty Council, the version established by Senate and Dentistry Faculty Council shall prevail.

The regulations and policies contained in this year’s edition of the Student Handbook apply, subject to change, only for the academic year indicated.

Students also agree, by the act of registration, to be bound by the regulations, policies and bylaws of the Faculty of Dentistry, including any amendments which may be made during the period of their registration. Students also acknowledge that such amendments may have retroactive application.
