Key Features and Benefits
Spam is unsolicited junk email normally with some kind of sales or advertising content and is generally a nuisance rather than a security threat. Phishing is an attempt at electronic identity theft, which could lead to financial losses. Reporting Spam and Phishing helps the University community, as it helps minimize the impact of Spam/Phishing, potentially blocking its distribution to additional email recipients.
