Application Support

Application Support provides analysis, acquisition, development, implementation and on-going support of the University of Manitoba's business systems. This includes liaison with the associated Business Units, development of inter-system integration and interfaces, and the liaison with ERP vendors and external partners.  Application Support is made up of various teams that provide support for each of its areas of responsibility.

Areas of Responsibility:

Application Support Manager:

  • Monitoring project time lines and budgets.

  • Coordinating technical teams, client offices and vendors.

  • Ensuring integration of systems.

  • Determining the impact that the operational systems and new projects will have on department and University resources, including staffing and hardware/software requirements, and advising management of these requirements.
