In January 2015, the University launched a renewed university-wide IT Governance model.  IT governance provides strategic leadership for the investments in information technology, establishes campus-wide IT priorities and policies in accordance with the University Strategic Plan, and is accountable to the University.  The University IT Advisory Committee (UITAC) is the Executive-level committee engaging senior-level leaders from across the University; replacing the former PACITi.  The UITAC is supported by five committees structured into “portfolios” that represent the University’s faculty, student, research and administrative business needs and supported by a cross-campus information technology body.

If you are proposing a new initiative for your faculty or unit and that initiative likely meets one of the three criteria for an IT investment, you will need to formally submit a proposal for the initiative into the IT Investment Review Process. 2. Click on the IT Investment Proposal Form Template
3. Save a copy of the completed form using the Proposal Name as the file name
4. Click HERE to send the proposal in an email to servicedesk@umanitoba.ca
5. Ensure the Subject line says: IT INVESTMENT FORM
6. Attach your saved copy of the completed IT Investment Form
7. Send the email
