LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)
Configuring Pegasus to use the UofM LDAP server provides quick and easy access to UofM employee and student email addresses.

To begin, open Pegasus and from the Addresses menu select LDAP client

On the next screen, click   to set our LDAP settings.
Click New... to add the UofM LDAP server.

On this screen, you may enter a title nickname for the LDAP server.
In the Host name box enter direct.cc.umanitoba.ca
In the Search box enter  o=University of Manitoba,c=CA
Important: The Host name and Search settings must be exactly as shown or your search will fail. 
Click OK, then click Done

You now have the ability to look up individuals in the UofM's public directory:




Now double click on the individual's name in the search results to open an email to that person.
