How To Automatically Filter Junk Mail using Outlook Web Access (OWA) Premium Version for Exchange Mail

This document will describe how to automatically filter messages as junk (spam) in the full version of Outlook Web Access (OWA), allowing the user to choose which messages they can send to junk. In order to complete these instructions, you need to be viewing OWA in the premium version, using Internet Explorer (do not use the Outlook Web Access Light feature). In addition, the Use the blind and low vision experience feature in the Accessibility portion of the Options menu must be temporarily turned off.

1. Log into Outlook Web Access, click Options.

2. Click Junk E-Mail.

3. Select Automatically filter junk e-mail. You may also add safe senders and blocked senders on this page. It is a good idea to check the check box next to Also trust e-mail from my Contacts if you know you do not want any mail from your contacts to go to junk.
