Email Account Tools

NOTE: We have begun the process of migrating staff Email accounts to our new Exchange Email and Calendar server. To differentiate between the two systems we are referring to the existing email service as "Classic", while the new system we are simply calling "Exchange.

If you have been migrated to the Exchange system, learn about the various features of Exchange by visiting http://umanitoba.ca/computing/ist/email/exchange/index.html

To read email from the University of Manitoba mail server, you need to configure your email client with the:

  • IMAP (or POP) server set to mail.cc.umanitoba.ca
  • SMTP server set to mail.cc.umanitoba.ca

All of the email management functions for the Computer & Network Services' (CNS), central computing (cc) Mail Account System are listed below.
